Getting in

Do I need a special client?
Yes. Download the full or mini client and the launcher, register on the website, and sign in to the launcher with your email. See “Connecting & Installing the Game”.

Full client or mini client?
The full client is about 80 GB and has everything on disk. The mini client downloads about 1.5 GB before Play unlocks, then fetches the rest over time.

Why does my antivirus flag the launcher?
The launcher changes the game while it starts, and some antivirus programs treat that as suspicious. Add an exclusion if yours blocks it.

I get “You have been disconnected” when I log in.

Do I need ElvUI?
No, but ElvUI MM Edition comes with the client and is built for this server’s numbers. See “Addons & Interface Tips”.

Can I do endgame solo?
Much of it, yes. Mythic+ has a Solo Keystone, Survival Mode and Challenge Rifts work alone, and Doom Realms can be soloed with great gear. A group makes them far easier.

Gearing and systems

Where do I start?
Open your Magic Stone and pick My Progress. It gives you one objective at a time.

What’s the best class?
Every spec is tuned to land in the same damage range near maximum gear. See “Choosing a Class & Build”.

What do Crit, Haste and Versatility do here?
Crit gives Overcrit, Haste gives Multicast, cooldown resets and a speed boost, and Versatility procs a shield. See “Crit, Haste & Versatility”.

Where do I get Primal Light?
From General Kaal and the elites in Castle Nathria Outskirts in Revendreth. It is needed for the Sanctified ladder and Omens, and it upgrades the Deadly Alliance ring.

How do I get more Corruption Resistance?
Deadly Alliance upgrades, Uber items, Sanctified items, and the Rift Warden’s Scrolls and Enchants of Warding. See “Corruption”.

I put a wrong power on my necklace. Can I remove it?
Ash and Blood holds up to 6 powers. When it is full, adding another lets you choose which one to replace.

How do I move upgrades to a new item?
Use an Echo of Transference. See “Da Forge”.

How do I get Da Supreme Potion?
Defeat Magni Azeritebeard, a hidden world boss in Stormsong Valley.

How do I raise the Gauntlet difficulty?
Pick it at the person inside the layer, before your first kill.

Why doesn’t Opeth, the Survival Master, appear?
Set your dungeon difficulty to Mythic before you teleport to Survival Mode.

Where do Doom Realm keys come from?
From the Orb Bosses in Zereth Mortis. See “Doom Realm”.
