Crit, Haste & Versatility -- How Your Stats Work
Mythic Munchers changes how the secondary stats behave. The more of a stat you have, the more it feeds its custom system.
Critical Strike — Overcrit
Critical strikes of your own abilities and attacks trigger Overcrit, extra damage that grows with how much Crit you have. It lands as one combined hit every quarter second per enemy. Paragon and Castle Nathria’s Wrath Unshackled set feed it directly.
Haste — three effects
- Multicast: when you cast a whitelisted spell, the game rolls for extra casts. More Haste means more repeats. The list is chosen spell by spell, so not every spell can multicast.
- Cooldown reset: resets a random spell on cooldown.
- Speed boost: a short burst of movement speed.
Versatility — a shield
Versatility procs a damage-absorbing shield on you.
Which should you stack?
Your Castle Nathria set and Paragon tree decide this at the top end: Reliquary of Convergence wants the Multicast tree, Wrath Unshackled wants the Overcrit tree, and Chronomancer’s Gambit works with any of them. Before that:
- Pure single-target damage: Crit.
- More casts and resets: Haste.
- Survivability: Versatility.
Pets and summons get your Paragon and Charm damage bonuses, and they benefit from your Multicast and Overcrit power as a steady damage bonus.
