Connecting & Installing the Game

Mythic Munchers runs on a custom Shadowlands (9.x) client, so a normal retail install will not work. Everything goes through the Mythic Munchers launcher.

Step 1 — make an account

Register on the Mythic Munchers website. You sign in to the launcher with that email and password.

Step 2 — choose a client

Download links are on the website and in the Discord.

• Full client — the complete game, about 80 GB. It takes longer to download and needs a lot of free disk space, but everything is already on your disk.
• Mini client — the launcher and a small game folder. The launcher downloads what you need to start, about 1.5 GB, and then the Play button unlocks. The rest of the game keeps downloading whenever the launcher is open and the game is closed, and anything still missing streams while you play.

Step 3 — launch

Extract the client, run the launcher, sign in and press Play. The launcher updates itself and the game, so you do not need to download it again for each patch.

What the launcher does

• Downloads the game and its updates.
• Starts the game with the server’s custom content turned on.
• Clears your cache before launch, if you turn that option on.
• Repairs your game files with the Repair button, if something looks broken.
