Mythic Munchers

Guide / Getting Started

Starting Your Adventure!

Once your first legendary weapon is crafted, right-click your Magic Stone and choose “Open World Farming” to travel to Stormsong Valley — The Brineworks (ilvl 200).

Cray Eizengard is waiting there with your next quest.

Stormsong Valley is split into five farming tiers, each tougher than the last:

  • The Brineworks (ilvl 200)
  • Deadwash Inn (ilvl 300)
  • Thresher’s Wharf (ilvl 350)
  • Brennadam (ilvl 400)
  • Port Fogtide (ilvl 450)

You only see the tiers you have unlocked in the Magic Stone menu — finish a tier’s quest chain to add the next one to the list. There is no way to skip ahead, so follow the chain Cray Eizengard gives you in order.

The Brineworks chain (all from Cray Eizengard)

1. “Population Control: Pirate Peril”
2. “Population Control: Rogue Machinery” — watch for three named enemies here: Sandscour, Bilge Rat Grog Jerk, and Harlan Sweete, Lord of the Irontide.
3. “Population Control: Swarm Domination” — ends in a fight with the Beehemoth.
4. “Population Control: Claws for Alarm!” — the region’s final quest, ending in a fight with the Crab Pirate.

Your quest log and map point you toward each objective — some steps give you a precise arrow, others just mark a general area, so a bit of exploring may be needed to find your target.

Finishing “Claws for Alarm!” rewards a Legendary Fragment. Spend these at the Runecarver — every legendary power you unlock on the crafting wheel costs 1 Fragment, so the more open-world tiers you clear, the more powers you have to choose from.

While you fight through the Brineworks, enemies drop Rum — autoloot is on, so it just piles up in your bags as you kill. Once you have 100, find the Suspicious Vendor, right behind Cray Eizengard near the bushes.

Buy Da Shirt.

It looks unassuming at ilvl 200, but it has one of the deepest upgrade paths in the game — buy it now while it is cheap, then grow it into an endgame-tier piece later with the Item Upgrader.

Once the story chain is done, Cray Eizengard also offers a repeatable “Daily: Coastal Threats” for a large chunk of Reservoir Anima — good to run once a day while you push toward Deadwash Inn.
