Guide / Core Systems

Da Forge

Da Forge (type /forge or click its marker button) is a companion addon with two separate crafting systems — Sanctified Forge and Void Touch. They apply to two different item categories and cannot both be used on the same item.

Sanctified Forge

daforge sanctified panel

Only works on Sanctified items. Any Corrupted item can be turned Sanctified with an Orb of Sanctification — right-click the Orb, then click the Corrupted item. You will be shown a list of that item’s current corruptions and can choose to either keep all of them as they are, or permanently strip one specific unwanted corruption as part of the conversion. Either way, the item becomes Sanctified and its upgrade ladder unlocks here.
Once Sanctified, it is a 20-level ladder; every level, pick ONE of 4 choices:

  • Corruption Resistance — adds or raises a Corruption Resistance bonus, up to 5 tiers (+5 per tier, capping at +25).
  • New Affix — adds a brand-new stat affix (Critical Strike, Haste, Versatility, Mastery, Primary Stat, or Stamina) at its first tier. You can hold up to 4 different affixes on one item.
  • Reinforce Affix — raises one of your existing affixes up a tier (5 tiers max per affix).
  • Sanctified Blessing — permanently locks in one of 6 blessings (Judgment, Reckoning, Chorus, Echoes, Bulwark, Consecration) — only one per item, and it cannot be changed once picked. Each blessing gets stronger the more equipped items on your character carry that same blessing, up to 3 stacks, so it is worth planning which blessing you want across multiple pieces rather than picking at random.

Costs scale up in brackets as you climb the ladder — Red Anima rises at level 8 and again at level 15; Primal Water joins the cost at level 8; Primal Sand and Primal Life Essence join at level 15; Primal Light is required at every level, with picking a Blessing costing noticeably more Primal Light than the other 3 options at the same level.
If an item was Sanctified before it had a socket, use “Add Missing Socket” (costs 1x Eye of the Void, no ladder step used) to retroactively add one — this does not touch your level, affixes, or normal costs at all.

Void Touch

daforge voidtouch panel

A completely separate track from Sanctified Forge — it only works on items that already carry all 3 tiers of Empowerment. An eligible item shows “Ready to Touch”; the first click (TOUCH) starts it at +0, and each further click pushes it up to +20, gaining item level every step. There is no choice to make at each level like Sanctified Forge — it is a straight, linear power increase, costing Red Anima plus Primal Shadow/Water/Sand/Life materials that scale up with every tier.
Void Cleanse destroys the item outright and refunds 75% of everything you spent reaching its current tier — this is not a way to remove the Void Touch tag and keep the item, it is a last-resort bail-out if you want to recover most of your materials instead of continuing to invest in that specific piece.

Practical takeaway: Sanctified Forge rewards planning ahead (which affixes to chase, which Blessing to commit to, whether to save Primal Light for a Blessing pick); Void Touch is simpler — just keep upgrading as long as you can afford it, and only use Void Cleanse if you genuinely want to abandon that item and recover materials instead.

Moving your upgrades

An Echo of Transference moves the upgrades of one item to another, so you can change base item without losing your work. Both items must be in your bags and fit the same slot. It moves Empowerment, Void Touch, Sanctify, Rift upgrades, corruptions, gems and the enchant. The target’s own upgrades are overwritten, and the source item is destroyed.
It works on Castle Nathria items, Death Cache items, Deadly Alliance and the Rift Warden sets. Buy one for 5 Donor Coins in the Forge tab, or get it from Castle Nathria runs and Predaxas, at a low chance.
